Cluster Filesystem Performance Issues

Dear CRCD Users,

Thank you to those who have reached out via ticket to inform us of slowdowns and other issues while using the cluster. These are generally related to the iX filesystem performance. The Systems Team is working with the vendor to diagnose and alleviate the problem in the short-term.
As for a long term solution, the implementation of a new filesystem is planned for the coming months that will fix problems like the ones users are currently experiencing and will better handle heavy I/O load.
