Help Me If You Can!

Responding to help tickets for users is one of the central jobs for the CRCD team. Most tickets involve complicated issues, but many tickets are asking simple questions that are answered elsewhere in the site, such as how to get an allocation or logging on through the Jupyter Hub. We have built several repositories for those kinds of questions and answers that are likely to produce a quicker response both for users and for the CRCD team.

Our workshop page is a great place to start: https://www.crc.pitt.edu/crc-workshops/crc-workshop-archive. We regularly host a Workshop CRCD Ecosystem On-Ramp, with all the basics users need to get started working with CRCD resources. We highly recommend that all novice users take the on-ramp workshop. It also doesn’t hurt to take a refresher.
