Reminder 2: CRCD Quarterly Cluster Maintenance August 19th 8AM-8PM

Dear CRCD Users,

This is a reminder that our quarterly maintenance (and RHEL 9 upgrade) is fast approaching: Tuesday, August 19th, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM ET

Please perform the following preparations if you have not already:

Test Small Instances of your Workflows Now, following our RHEL 9 Upgrade Guidelines<https://www.crc.pitt.edu/crcd-upgrading-os-rhel7-rhel9>:

  *   The RHEL 9 test environment is available for validating workflows. Please identify critical issues before maintenance to minimize disruptions afterwards.

Plan Job Resubmissions:

  *   All queued/running Slurm jobs will be purged during the OS upgrade—ensure you are ready to resubmit jobs when the system is available to users again.
